Vytautas Magnus University and VMU PhD Student Club kindly invite You to attend the workshop that will be held by prof. Josep M. Duart, and Co-Editor-in Chief of The International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, Open University of Catalonia. The main topic of the workshop is “How to publish your research in scientific journals with high impact factors?”

Why it is important to participate in this workshop?
The value of scientist’s work is usually measured by number of publications in journals with high impact factors.Most PhD students need to publish at least 2 articles in scientific journals and in most fields these publications must have an impact factor.The number of publications with high impact factors can be advantageous for your academic career.
About professor
Prof. Duart specializes in Educational Technology, e-learning models and educational organization. He leads and collaborates on research projects in areas of educational policy, higher education leadership and ICT usage. Prof. Duart has published several books and a range of co-authored articles in international scientific journals (ORCID). He also gives lectures on ICTs in higher education at international conferences and at European, American and Australian universities. He is the Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, Vice President of Research of EDEN (European Distance Education and E-learning Network), and member of “The University of the Future Network”.
What do I need to do if I want to participate?
There are several requirements for participants:
You need to be in active phase of your research (i.e. you need to have at least some research data and an idea for research paper to publish);Preferably you should study in one of these research fields: Social sciences, Humanities or Information technology;You need to submit an abstract of your future paper during the registration.
